FUN CUP STOCK AND PURCHASE COORDINATOR
The FUN CUP Stock and Purchase Coordinator will manage, within the framework of the purchase strategy defined by the management, all the purchases for the FUN CUP department. He/she is the contact person of our suppliers and the different sub-departments.
We are looking for a full-time employee.
The duties of the Stock and Purchase Coordinator will include:
- Responsible for the entire procurement process: from conducting market research based on a needs analysis to drawing up the request for quotation, selecting suppliers and ordering the purchase items.
- Build up a professional relationship with the suppliers and make clear agreements on price setting and delivery deadlines to improve efficiency and cost control.
- Closely monitor deliveries, invoicing and any price increases. Take action if necessary and follow up on supplier complaints.
- Prepare annual forecast for cash planning and stock value.
- Purchase off the shelf parts, tailor made parts and organise supply of parts produced internally.
- Prioritise and organise deliveries and collection of parts.
- Manage the stock of the delivered goods.
- Organise returns and quality control issues back to supplier.
- Manage all stock for age of stock to reduce number of downgrades and write offs (FIFO method).
- Implementation and development of the stock management strategy in the ERP.
- Improve the stock value efficiency.
- Collaborate with the store men and the different departments (technical, production & part support).
- Work close with the storekeeper.
The Stock and Purchase Coordinator should have the following desired skillset:
- Experience in a similar role for at least five years and technical background (ideally in motorsport).
- WMS, ERP and MS Office skills required.
- Hands on approach with a flexible ‘can do’ and ‘will do’ attitude.
- Flexible with workload and tight deadline.
- Knowledge of French and English required.
- Pro-active problem solver and strong communicator.
- Strong organisation and planning capacities.
